Residents are advised that the Bulk Garbage and Metal Collection will commence on the following dates. Bulk Garbage will take place from Monday, August 24th through Friday, August, 28th. (Tuesday, August 25th will be regular garbage day.) Metal Collection will take place from Monday, August 31st through Friday, September 4th.

Hant’s Harbour is a small fishing village built around a small harbour which opens to Trinity Bay.

The community of Hant’s Harbour is an incorporated town having a population of 329 residents located on the east side of Trinity Bay on the Bay de Verde Peninsula in Newfoundland, Canada.

The harbour waters are able to accommodate vessels up to 100 tons, the landscapes which surround our community are low hills which are rocky and barren.

Our climate offers relatively mild winters with considerable variation in snow cover. Heavy rainfalls from October through December. Summers cooled by low clouds and fogs near coasts, considerably brighter and warmer inland.
